Steve started his behavioral health career at Forest View Psychiatric hospital in 1978 and worked for programs funded by community mental health. After obtaining his masters degree in clinical psychology, Steve began working for Hospice of Michigan and started a practice at Life Guidance Services. In the fall of 2005, he joined EAC.
As an EAC counselor, Steve helps employees and their family members address a variety of issues ranging from anxiety, depression, substance abuse, couple difficulties and anger management problems. In addition, Steve graduated from a three year program where he was trained in Integral Therapy, a proactive approach to counseling. He is also certified in Auricular Acupuncture and is a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). Over the years, Steve has facilitated many of EAC’s training programs including: Coping with Change, Changing Self-Talk, and Living Healthy: How We Do It; Why We Don’t. Steve is also pursuing his certification in Workplace Conflict Resolution through the Thera Rising Institute.
When Steve isn’t working at EAC, he enjoys traveling the world. In fact, he has studied in three different countries, and been to nine others!
