Karen received her Masters Degree in clinical social work from Michigan State University. She has been serving people as a clinical therapist for over 25 years. She started her career at the Rehabilitation Institute in Chicago working with disabled clients. During her time in Chicago, she completed a two-year post graduate clinical training at The Family Institute of Chicago at Northwestern. Prior to joining EAC’s staff in 2003, Karen worked in various roles in behavioral health care.
Karen is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) and she is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). Karen enjoys working with children and adolescents, adults, couples and families.
When Karen isn’t working, she enjoys spending time in her garden and with her family along the West Michigan lakeshore.
